Joe D'Etremont, President of Rolling Thunder Massachusetts Chapter 1, a nonprofit organization dedicated to publicizing MIA/POA issues, says his group is vying to create a NASCAR car designed to honor those still missing.

     D'Entremont said there are still 91,000 soldiers missing from past wars. NASCAR is followed by millions of people, so he thought -- what better way to get the word out than to create a car about POA/MIA soldiers. Toyota Racing is sponsoring the contest to design a car. To win, each entry must get as many votes as possible in the next 8 days (today being 3/9) to make it to the top 10. As of March 7, there are over 20,000 cars in the contest and currently Joe's car is number 6.
